Buyer and seller agree a price

We take your full instructions and you supply proof of identification

The seller’s conveyancer sends out the draft contract
▼
Buyers’ conveyancer raises enquiries and applies for relevant searches

Once a mortgage offer and replies to enquiries are received, an appointment will be made to discuss and sign documents when a deposit will also be requested.

Contracts are exchanged and completion (moving) date agreed
▼
Sale and/or purchase completes normally around midday when keys are collected

- How long does the process take?
If all goes smoothly, on average 6 – 8 weeks - What documents do I need to provide?
We will send you a client care package at the start of the matter and in this we will indicate the documents we require for identification purposes to comply with anti-money laundering regulations? - When can I make arrangements for moving and services e.g. gas, water?
Once a date has been agreed in principal for a completion, you can make provisional arrangements which can be confirmed once an exchange of contracts takes place and a definite completion date is fixed. - When do I get the keys?
The keys will be released on the day of completion either by the agent or upon prior arrangement with the seller once the monies have been received by the seller’s Solicitors.
