Faizal is a senior lawyer with extensive experience in private practice as well as the public sector. He also has substantial expertise handling large value and complex litigation claims, including commercial litigation claims as well as high-value personal injury claims.
An award-winning lawyer, who has practiced with some of the most reputable legal firms in the East Midlands, Faizal also worked with Leicestershire County Council where he was Team Leader for Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
Commenting on joining the team at Headleys, Faizal said: “I’m delighted to be part of the team at Headleys with a focus on developing and maintaining the practices’ excellent civil litigation services to its clients both present and new.”
In recognition of his contribution supporting local communities, Faizal was the Inaugural winner of the DLA Paul Nicholls Memorial Foundation Award for excellence in Pro Bono work; winner of the ILEX Pro Bono Award in 2005 and runner-up in the ILEX Award in 2001.
He has also served on various boards and advisory committees and continues to provide legal and specialised advice to the voluntary sector.
